Well, i'm dipping my toe in the water...
I've just put my 390SE through its MOT and all it needed was the handbrake adjusting... Just a stuck o/s handbrake claw mechanism.. No advisories...
So, i'm now thinking of putting it up for sale and getting something a little newer.
Black 1987 390SE - 90k on the clock. Taxed till end of Dec2010.
The chassis is in excellent condition.... The engine and box and lovely and the noise from the double cannons is simply hypnotic.....
The car has had the out riggers done by SSCC TVR and the chassis is excellent. No need to worry for a few years yet...
The car runs on 17 inc AZEV wheels..... very good tyres.
Grey leather interior is in excellent condition.
Hood and top in excellent condition..
Stainless twin exit exhaust..
CD/Radio with 4 speakers.
I dont know what else to say - it starts and run perfectly every time. Perfect oil perssure.
The oil and filter / all coolant has just been changed... All new oil pipes to the oil cooler and back to the engine in the last two weeks, as there was a wee leak. Not now.
New alternator and power steering pump last Autum.
The car benefits from grooved and cross drilled discs...
Adjustable suspension
There is a HUGE history file... It goes back 20yrs and theres around £20K of receipts...
A good starter for ten if you're looking to get your first TVR.. So make it a good one.
