Is there a special key for this? Can't find mine, if there is one, where would it be?

Hi Jason, all good with the car? I'll be down at Pembrey on Saturday for a full Trackday if you fancy a tyrekick. I'll show you how I got my old centre caps off without the key... thumbup

I'll be there around 8-8:30 I think to sign on & do the briefing etc. I think the 1st cars on track around 9:30 - 10 ish. You can come out as a passenger if you like. You'll have to purchase a passenger armband & borrow a helmet if you haven't got one. thumbup

Sorry to go on about this, but could someone with 400SE wheels please post a pic of their key, more importantly the business end so I could see how it works?

Regards

I bought a wheel cap key from RT Racing for a previous 400SE I owned for £39.95 if my memory serves me right. They told me they don't always stock it but they were making a batch a few years ago and I managed to get one. It's worth giving them a call though.

I actually made one... Very easy to do! Cheap ratchet (that the shaft will fit into the recess of the bolt) grind the end off so its flat...then grind away the end so you are left with a stubby that sticks out and goes into the bolt. Worked for me smile

Thanks Matt, that's why I need to see one, having never actually seen how the cap comes off, in relation to the tool etc once I can visualise how it works, I may be able to work it out
