What do you think guys??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ESCORT-MK1-MK2-CORTINA-CAPRI...

Ive spoken to the guy, and he tells me that the area needed is around 9" long, along the column, and about the size of a bean can (all highly technical measurements of course) at 90 degrees off of the column.

Im going to have a root round when I get home and see if its viable, but your opinions always valued.

Im starting to feel like Arnie at the moment, on the plus side, she is running like a dream, and im slapping on the miles....... Sombody spot me!!!

I've got a Corsa C column in the racer, was a tight fit due to the length of the motor, (esp as I did not want to motor to face downwards).
I've got a slightly different speed controller also, that I've had problems with, but hopefully that one in the kit is fine.

Its not an easy job, esp if you want to make it look invisible or original, about 2-4 days but it does work well, and keeps the engine bay less cluttered.

I have a switch on mine so have the option to have it totally off.

thanks Leigh

Does it make a big difference?
Do you have to cut the existing column to get the transfer of power?

Not sure what you mean by, "Do you have to cut the existing column to get the transfer of power?"

Also as said I think I have a problem with my speed controller as my PAS is way too light, hence having it currently running on a switch, so only used when parking or pit lap.

on my I can do lock to lock with just my little finger with the car stationary.
