Hi guys im looking for a fuel guage for my 350i as im fed up trying to guess how much fuel I have.
Does anyone have a spare or where can I get a new one from?

Another question is how do you get the dash panel out?

Is it that your gauge sticks or just always is stuck hard up against its empty stop? Just that my gauge stuck 3/4 full, did work fine and after dismantling it and fidling I have got it working fine again.

It reads full as soon as you plug it in. Ran a new cable to the sender and it made no difference. It goes to empty with the ignition off and back to full as soon as the ignition is turned on.

Sounds to me as if your gauge is working ok as from memory current travels via the gauge then down to the sender in the tank and then to earth to make the circuit. The tank sender is a variable resistor. So if you have a full scale deflection on switching on the ignition, ie full tank reading then your output from the gauge is going straight to earth. May I suggest you disconect the wire at the tank sender, leave unearthed, and switch on ignition. The gauge should show empty. Put disconected wire to earth and switch on ignition. If youm have a gauge showing full then fault is in sender in tank. The sender unit can be removed, assuming fuel tank is quite empty, and repaired a very simple device so a good DIYer could fix it.
