A case of bad wind - phew!
Discussion
Due to the 'fairly breezy' 70 mph winds up our way , neighbours roof decided it needed to shed some weight -only a few kilos of slate mind........landed 3 feet away from the ass of the Wedge
Decided to re-position the beast to a less hostile enviroment....i.e. the in-laws house (yes , LESS hostile i said
)
Serves me right for letting the wife let me buy a house without a garage!
Thank you Lord for protecting the preachers chariot(spread the word of God quickly - but also puts the fear of God into the unsuspecting/non-believers....and that Black Golf GTi on the by-pass today!)
oh

Your wedge is truly blessed Father in its avoidance of Satan powered slates, and its ability to warm the hearts of the inlaws and them allowing shelter when there was no room at the inn. I am glad that the slates missed thy holy chariot, but look on the bright side, it could have been one of Mrs Doyles sandwiches !!!

And I read this thread thinking it was going to be funny in a traditionally British lavatorial way - tsk tsk!
Glad the Wedge was not damaged. Mine lives outside too - it has to stay in the road cos it won't go through the gates.
So far the Ferrari has been tampered with - rear badge removed and the front one attempted - only £94 to replace before fitting. Growler badge on Jag removed, wing mirror to camper van torn off. Wedge not been touched (touch wood) - maybe local scumbags now have some respect or they know the feds are looking out for them.

Blimey! Makes you have some sympathy for the guy who wired his car up to the mains a few years ago. He ended up electrocuting a policeman, but the idea was sound enough!
Personally I fancy the device currently on sale in South Africa - and the video showing it at work is great:
www.cnn.com/WORLD/africa/9812/11/flame.thrower.car/
I particularly like the assertion of the manufacturer that this device is perfectly safe as it only blinds assailants, and doesn't kill them; well, that's OK then.
