Anyone trying to track down a throttle position sensor for a hot wire system, you may well end up pulling your hair out (unless like me your going bald in which case it drops out). The TPS sensor is rare and difficult to track down but... the TPS sensor for the air flap system is more common and certainly easier and cheaper to find.
The good news, the parts are interchangable - they are both 5k resistance, same travel and the wiring is the same, the only difference is the connector. All you need do is extract the pins from one and replace in the same colour code as the other and hey presto it all works..
So the ebay 400 SE is now singing like thor clearing his throat and so damn quick.....
