silicon emission duct hose?

Ive replaced all water hoses wiyh silicone from act and they are much more flexible and practical than rubber,so far they aint distorted at the jubilee clips so they reseal well,John

If you mean the AFM to Plenum, then it can give slight benefits,
1. a smother bore so less frag.
2. Less likely to leak or split
3. looks better
