Mike, a quick and polite comment; it might have been better to blur or leave off the model details ("400SE"), after all, >400 and SEAC owners wouldn't want just "400SE" on their cars ... would they? - Streaky

Oops! Forgot to say, "but nice all the same!"

Very interesting site. Only pity is my skills as a mechanic are zilch! However, like most of the replies I have had to my posts on PH, the thing about the tvr wedge being a specialist motor that's expensive to maintain, is being debunked - it's about finding competent mechanics and pointing them in the direction of guys like you for the final touches to the planning. Thanks & well done

I take it its your first visit Jim. I found this site before i ever heard of PistonHeads site so I always enter via www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk/ Its a great site and specific to our needs. There is no way i would have bought another Wedge without it. Maybe we need to advertise it better because i am sure that there are a lot of Wedge forum users that enter via PH and miss all the other good stuff.

Cheers Mike, So are you coming to BBWF? If you are why not join in the "leeks and Turnips" convoy. Headed up by JMorgan meeting at my house (Usk, on the way for you) for sausage egg and chip brekkie.

I am going to be coming to the BBWF, if I come in my baby is another matter!.

I rolled it out on the weekend and managed to crack the front spoiler nearly off!.

The front springs have compressed over the years and the front wheels nearly (and did) rub on the front splitter causing it to crack the GRP - big bummer!

I now need to change the front shocks and springs and get the splitter put back on.

Still, I sat in it on the drive and reved it for an hour or two to annoy the neighbours to make up for not driving it

Will you be bringing a load of stickers along to the BBWF? if not the next time I'm down visiting the relatives in Caerphilly I'll pop up and get a couple of sets.

ps How are the wheel centres coming along, I need a couple of those also!

My company supply alot of the National and Regional press across the country with their POS and promotional equipment as well as Tesco and Sainsburys to ad to the list so its good kit.

Hi,

I have got the mail and am interested. I have a few local people that I was intending to use for the other promo items I will have a think as to what else I need and get back to you. Thanks for the offer though It all helps.

If you are intending to visit, fire me off an e-mail first just to ensure that I will be around.

As far as wheel centres go I am just trying to source some material 200micron semi rigid stuff.

When I get sorted i will let people know.

Cheers
