First of all we are really looking forward to see you all in Aberdeen and appreciate you joining us for RNRII. I think I have everything more or less in place apart from the weather which is out of my control. However, current long range Aberdeen weather forecast is dry with sunny intervals Fri & Sat, showers Sun with a barmy temperature of 9 or 10 deg C!!!

So preliminary plan
Friday
Rendezvous at the Double Tree’s Friday afternoon, I will be there from 2.00pm onwards to meet, greet and drink beer, We will make tracks for the restaurant about 6.30 enabling us to stop in a bar on the way for a sharpener, dinner is at 8.00.

Saturday
Check out and leave about 10.30/11.00, head to Alford transport museum, this will allow us to have a spot of lunch (ETA 12.00), visit the museum if you wish (Its not big but some nice vehicles) and the museum will allow us to take the cars on site for photos if required. We leave there about 2.00 and head to the Lecht, (ETA 15.30) allowing for a stop on the way for photo’s, there is a café at the top for refreshments. Approx 4.30 we will head across to Banchory via another great road, ETA 5.30 allowing for more photos. Check in the next hotel and I suggest we rendezvous in the bar prior to supper in the hotel.

Sunday
Check out and leave about 11.00, a drive across the Cairn O’Mount road, finishing at the Brechin Castle Centre about 1.30 with stops for coffee’s and goodbyes etc, the Centre has our ETA and is allocating us a space for parking and they are putting our visit on their website. This last stop in on the A90 allowing us to depart home North or South.

I will arrange maps for each car marking the routes and catch up points along the way so we can try and maintain a group as we head out of Aberdeen, I have asked a mate to act as chase car to herd any lost souls in the right direction. Any questions give me a shout
Cheers
Hamish & Katie

like how you think Rob, would need to ask Hamish to see how busy it would be.

Just a quick update
The Alford transport museum's has offered us discounted admission rate of £4.50 instead of £6.00 for adults, £4 (£5.50) for senior adults meaning more pennies for more rusty's !!!

More updates to follow later
Cheers

Yep I've been doing the old chicken bones dance and howling like a dog to the moon, latest is sunny partly cloudy, if it continues to improve we may have to serve the rusty's in tall glasses with cruched ice and an umbrella !!!!!
