Only just finished a 2.5 year rebuild on the wedge, but have wanted a Tuscan for a long time, so should I sell and buy one of those speed 6 things?

No!

I had a Tuscan 2 for 3 1/2 years and hardly ever used it, not because of anything particular, but the biggest thing was the niggle in the back of my mind about the engine going pop... I always warmed her up correctly and didnt thrash the tits off it unless really right conditions, like no, and I mean NO damp anywhere, it really was an awesome car, and the power put down was awesome and fking scary most of the time, but all in all, I put 6000 miles on the clock in those 3 1/2 years and rather than drive it I found myself making excuses to not get it out of the garage...

The Tasmin FHC is a different story, ive done about 1200 miles since I got her in Feb this year, and its up on ramps most weekends having little 'bits' played with in that time too.

See if you can drive a few and put into perspective the use over extra cost, and the fact that you may have to move on a car that you know 'nuts and bolts through' for a car that, lets be fair, could be a dog.

If money is no option have both!!!

Do you want to fettle around with the car yourself and keep costs down?
If so,keep the wedge.
Does your bank account need emptying?
Then buy the tuscan!

Supercharger time!!! I think the only thing I'd move to now would be an LS Cerb or a Seight. S6 are great but as said above, they do need 'looking after'.

Not bothered about the performance, it's the looks I like and so does the wife, who realiy does not like the wedge. The main thing putting me off is the potential engine problems but would go for one that had a rebuild and may be some warrenty on the engine, but I know every last bolt on mine, which is why I don't know what to do.

I would only chop such a good Wedge in for a LOUD LS-powered Cerb. smile
