Agree with Adam. As they're standard XJS/XJ6 any decent motor factors will stock them. Alternatively can get them mail order - part no BDS5111 on http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/ - £17.53!

Amazing. That's about half what I paid 15 years ago!

when you change the disc make a note of the shims behind and infront of the disc on each side as these are to adjust rear camber

The shims on the out side of the disk controls the rear camber,

When you replace the rear disks you should get new shims at the old ones may not be in a good condition and it will be easer to use new shims.
Also the bolts that hold the calipers in are wired to lock them in place and it would be a good time to see what start the rear calipers are in, may warrent an over hall.

Have fun, it will take some time to remove the disks and calipers.

and the inner ones centre the disc in the caliper,

I second campbell's advice, you really don't want to get under there twice.

Hi Jonny,
You may want to consider access holes in the boot, I did this for my diff change out recently and it saved so much time and knuckles, plus so much easier to change pads, bleed brakes etc.
Also you may want to consider dropping the whole diff, it will probably take as much time but you can easily work on the brakes etc. When I reassembled mine I fitted the new bushes (Steve Heath carrier/RT Top frame) half shafts (New nuts Steve Heath) and A frame on the deck prior to lifting the diff into place, made life easier to torque everything up, a few bolts on diff carrier then just the springs and shocks.

I use these guys, great service, quality parts and fast delivery

Rear disc £16.75
Caliper seal kit £17.11
Plus a nice new bleed nipple

Cheers
Hamish

I know the shims on one side on mine are rusted and expanded on the outside so I would have to find another way to count/measure them.

This has been posted on PH in the past, never used them though.
