window motor for Tasmin?

Need a window motor for the drivers door on a 1989 Tasmin please can u help to point me in the right direction ( not sure what its from) all help appreciated stephen

Im sure they were from a rover sd1 with a modified action.
Im sure you could replace the motor if the frame was ok.

Have you sorted one yet? I think I may have one in the garage that is now surplus to requirements.

SD1 - try Rimmer Bros they have them new for under £30 each - perfect fit replaced both of mine

I have had one for my 400 from Rimmers
and also had to get one for my 350i before

Rover SD1 motors and I think £38 was the cost

Like six years late, but does a RH motor/regulator assembly for an SD1 fit the RH Tasmin door, and a LH SD1 motor/regulator assembly fit a LH Tasmin door?

But wait, there's more. Are those SD1 motor/regulators for front doors?

FWIW, I was worried too about driver side references. I'm in the states with left hand drive.

I think the motors are compatible to either side but not sure on the regulators.

I got a set from a scrappies and they have the L/H and R/H written on them, so i'm assuming they are sided.

Rimmers have just started a 15% off sale on SDi parts including the regulators, and I suppose you can remove the motor from a new one and put it on your one, LH or RH....
