Thanks rev..Just spoke to Ian at ACT and might of found a cheaper solution..might have to use a couple of cherry bomb mid silencers but he can supply the downpipes up to mid silencer..I love cherry bombs.got one on me rover 420.. So maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel..Viva la TVR.
Just found this on a griff forum..

Get it running right first and driving OK or else you'll spend out on an exhaust hanging off a duff engine. Tell him to patch anything before the centre box if it's bad.

Thanks chaps...Got an email from garage and the drivers side is ok so its only a passenger side downpipe needed..the silencers are both knackered but the cherry bombs are only £37 each so it shouldnt come to too much,,He did notice a hairline crack in the passenger side manifold and said it is not leaking but will need replacing at some point, Is it a cortina manifold..I believe it is runnung 100 percent and there is just the tie arm bushes and some tweaking needed..There is a metal clunking on rotation of drivers front wheel but only occaisionally and only on load, It doesnt happen when car is up on ramp with wheels off ground and nothing seems to be rubbing..please dont be bad news.. cheers..
