Been looking for someone take my 400SE to for occasional tune ups, suspension geometry checks etc., especially as my local engine specialist has just got rid of their rolling road. The catch is that I've had MoTEC fitted to the car, so they need to be familiar with the system and have access to the software. So far, Austec Racing seem to fit the bill, and during a brief conversation with them this afternoon, they claimed to have 4 big Wedges in the workshop at present, and some 10 or so on their books. Does anyone have direct experience of these guys that they wish to share with me (off group if necessary) before I entrust my car to them.
Any comments appreciated.

My 450SE is in Austec at present for brake and suspension upgrade, they are having monster problems with it as front disc's are not standard (270mm) and no longer availible from TVR or AP. They have not given up and have tracked down the orginal disc manufacturer (Castings), who has some rough castings on shelf that they will finish to standard and groove. Although very long job Austec have come through and on this basis I highly recommend them.

There's a thread about it here

Sad news all round, I was stung by them when things started to go wrong four years ago. I also recommended them to a friend who met a similar fate. Not sure if n&s rules apply to defunct companies but I will spare the details.
