Thanks Streaky, I am trying to contact the people involved.

Redcap, if you can hang on for a day or two I should be able to contact the present owner who is also a TVRCC member.

Cheers

Chassis number is interesting for an F reg car. Mine is 19560 E reg, Nov 1987 although built in 1986.

I don't know whats wrong with the club email address, it should work I have had a few emails via it...

archivist@tvrcc.com

If anyone else struggles you can email me via my pistonheads profile or my tvrcc forum email.

PS 19560, I will have a look at chassis numbers and dates later today if I get a chance, off to work now and no pistonheads via the works internet account

Richard - "Mr Bacon" was my father! I only just read your 01:14 posting (at 06:58 ) and will call at a more civilised hour. You've got me (a) worried / (b) intrigued - Streaky

Hi Jonathan,

Had a quick look at the chassis numbers, its because the last six digets are not a straight sequence, the last few digits are taken from the build sheet, characters earlier in the chassis number define the year among other things

Give me a ring if you want to chat chassis numbers (my phone number is in Sprint)

regards
Richard Sails
