I must be poorly.....that's the only explanation

Lads........I'm sorry, but to be honest I've never been that keen on Wedges of any variation. OK, I race one but that was the only track ready race car I could afford at the time. When I see other wedges at gatherings etc I just see SPARE PARTS for the racer. SO WHY IS IT I HAVE SUDDEN NEED TO OWN A 450SE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Am I ill?

Too late for mine I'm afraid, chap is picking it up on the weekend. They are deliciously special, rare & have the most fabulous sondtrack. Oh & they go a bit too. Happy hunting.
The man speaks the truth , though it does tickle me that Wyn is fine then ill then fine and then ill again.........thats the only reason I can think of why he insists on buying fab Wedges then getting rid of them only to try something else and then go buy another Wedge!!!!...Hmmmmmmm....... or maybe he is just going for the most owned Wedges by a single person in a lifetime .........what ever the reason, keep going buddy ..I always wonder who's
sorted Wedge you are going to pick up next, definitely won't be mine I am a lifer.

Anyway buy a wedge they need a good home , as they become more and more scarce, with some constantly showing up in breakers yards , there won't be many left soon .
I had that very same itch recently. I have an absolutely stonking 4.5 Cerb but there is just something about a 450SE!
I scratched my itch.....thankyou Wyn for advertising your lovely car at just the right time
Looking forward to bringing the 450SE back to Oxfordshire this weekend and then stressing about just which of the two cars to take out for my weekend blats. Decisions, decisions....

Nope, you've realised what incredible value for money they are, what wonderful mad people own them, and you'd rather not have a common as muck Chim which are mostly driven by their owner's wives because they look like MX5s on steroids.

Outrageous statement about owners wives - wouldn't let my wife near my Chimaera, would have to wrestle it away from the girlfriend first!!

Hi Matt, fingers crossed for the weather Saturday.
Alun, how's things bud. Just enjoying my mid life crisis that's all.
Take it steady home, Matt, plenty of time to play. Alun, how's things bud. Just enjoying my mid life crisis that's all.

Fine, thanks Wyn , ever busy , but it's all good.
You sure it's a midlife crisis, it's been going on for atleast 6 years or is that the norm, look forward to that one then !!!!!!!

I think I'm the only one out there racing a wedge who likes them, esp with V8's hence spending too much time and money fitting mine with a Rv8.
As you know I don't have a beard etc, plus I've had my 400SE for 15 years.
As said they are getting quite rare now and are quite unmistakable have a lovely sound track.
I think you should turn to the dark side and get one, at least you know how all the parts work, and how easy they are to fix.

Alun,
I absolutely will be taking it very very steady on the way back don't worry. I think the weather is going to be quite mucky as well.
Greeny is giving me a lift up there in his Cerb and so I think I will stipulate that he follows me back rather than me trying to keep up with him
oh and just on the beard theme- I don't have one either but I do like to murder a pint of real ale
