Hi, Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a 200 when I was about 21 in silver with blue trim and roof.Absolutely love
this model, takes me back to the amazing but brief time I had it.

Just wanted to add that I bought it from a guy in the Wirral and I live in Cardiff. At the time I took my next door neighbour (Doug) with me. He was a dab hand at cars and owned a classic fiat sport, so knew the score. I paid cash for it(in a big envelope after beg borrowing to raise the funds) and the deal was, Doug would check it out and DRIVE IT HOME. So I spent the first 3 hours of Wedge ownership, without even having driven the car, following it all the way home in a Ford escort combi van with the largest of grins on my face.

Great to see it . enjoy. sonar

Cheers Al

A lot of them do seem to ride high at the front (mine does and all the pics in the model brochures from a certain era show the same).

BTW I thought I recognised the street, I live just up the hill!

The 200 had different rated springs to the 2.8 and 3.5 due to the lighter engine. It's possible that springs for the 2.8 have been fitted as many suppliers seem to think the springs are the same for all the models. Cheers Steve

I thought the all aluminium V8 was lighter than the all iron Ford Pinto engine...?

Certainly lighter than the all iron Ford Cologne V6!
