I had a battle with the SEAC with a crap battery and no wanting to restart from hot and some times from cold too, replaced with a nice 600 plus amp battery and no more probs. Still dosent turn over any faster but it works.
Ive also been out today with 2 of my frav lasses for a dive, a blast over the fells to keswick for lunch at out frav pub and then a tootle down to Wintermere to lakeland plastic for a walk around...well it was my partners birthday yesterday and i was working then another blast over the top of kirkstone pass to Penrith anther tootle home over the border to put the car back to its resting place. Weaher was ok and a lot less water on the roads compaired to juring the week.
Just keep running the car it will get better Zigs

Thanks mate..Be nice to have roads like they do up north..down south is a misery at certain times but the joys of driving are still there..and yes what a lovely day today..The garage did say that the car needs to run for about 500 miles to adjust to all the changes..he said to bring it back then but it will need a new fuel pump and filter before that as he only cleaned out old one and it would be better in the long run..I know its not shredding tyres (yet) but im lovin it and should of done it years ago.. Even got a bib..bib..from a porshe and a lotus driver earlier..cheers..mark

Hi Mark
Glad to hear you are up and running. Give that battery an overnight charge just to eliminate as a problem.
I do hope your car is not as pidgeon toed as you describe
Starting....usually that is the one thing a 280 does well.
It should maintain pressure in the system making for easy starting, I think you said you got squirted with petrol when changing the filter,
that's why.
It is very likely this will improve as the fuel system bleeds itself, if not then it could be the accumaltor. I'm sure your guy will check the pressures when you take it back after 500. (36 psi system pressure after 10 minutes,29 after 20).
That is of course with full system pressure, if he adjusts that at the regulator then your residual pressure will come up too.
Get that tracking done before you have to post a "What tyres thread"
