No report on wedgefest ?

Nothing in sprint this month , whats happened , they had plenty of coverage of the event before it occured !

Yes its disappointing that there's no coverage in "Sprint". As I have said before they can only print, if they get an article submited. So it's down to us not them!
A person who will remain nameless promised to do this but it appears they haven't. I will be seeing them at the NEC over the weekend and will certainly ask the question.

As I said if we don't put our selfs forward then items will not get printed, so we go un-noticed.

I had no idea that no one had sent anything to the club and I didn't take any pics either , is anyone able to send them some stuff about the fest fairly quickly ?

I don't mind you naming me and am quite happy to take the flak if I have failed to do something that I promised to do. However, I emailed you the draft report before I went on holiday in August because as I said at the time, I could only write up the Saturday up until about 5pm when I had to leave; I understood that you and Adam were going to add in the report for Saturday night and Sunday, plus add in the names of the prize winners as I didn't have them.

That email should still be on my PC at home (the draft report certainly is but the auto-archive might have shed the sent items after 3 months). If I've got it I will re-send it to you this evening. I know that I asked for a read recipt (my system always does) but I must confess that I didn't check when I got back from holiday whether you had received it and then it slipped my mind until Paul Edmonds contacted the Club Office about this on Monday.

If there is a failing on my part it is not chasing this up for which of course I apologise.

I ahve a full CD-ROM of photos ready to submit but was waiting until I had the words to go with them.

Ralph , any chance of sending the draft report and the pics to the ed of sprint before Dec deadline ? Sprint is a bit empty without some stuff on wedgefest .
