TVR Paintball...

[mrzigazaga]

Hi peeps..Been chatting to a friend of mine who owns and runs a paintball site in colchester..and was thinking of arranging a paintball weekend either spring or early summer of next year..As iam new to TVRs and have never been to a meet im not sure what you normally have at these functions But obviously there will be a rolling road..Food..Music..Beer..competitions..There is an area for parking,Not sure how big an area it is but believe it is big(will find out).I welcome any suggestions or input,Also will need dates to avoid as i dont want it to clash with any regular functions that you guys attend, If all goes well this could be an on going thing..would need to know how many would be interested so that we can work out some figures and pricing..The price(per ticket) will be inclusive of all you need to get paintballing..Gun(gravity fed),Clean laundered overalls, mask and 100rounds of paint.. Prices wont include:Extra paint(£5 per 100)..Food..Beer..But i will look into getting prices as low as possible so extra paint might be cheaper, Alcohol cannot be sold during the day but there is a local pub,The plan was to start on the friday evening with a meet..80s disco in one of the 3000sqft hangars,Food and possibly beer on site in the evening..Then out on saturday morning for paintballing session..Or just chill out,I will look into things to do for those who dont want to paintball, There will be your favourite things like loudest.fastest..best looking..worst looking car or anything else ive missed,I will find out about local accomodation but there are hangars to kip in..There are airbeds available and male and female washrooms with newly fitted showers that are kept very clean for those who dont mind roughing it a little,The site is an old world war 2 airfield so you might get the odd supernatural visitor at night but they wont hurt you..bless em..I will be going up to have a meet and look around hopefully before christmas if not then just after..Even if paintball isnt your thing then there will still be other attractions..Let me know what you think please..many thanks..Mark

PS: Will look into having a saucy wedge calendar made up and most of the proceeds will go to cancer research as ive just lost a friend to the treacherous disease..Thanks
