The advert says
SENSIBLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED BEFORE AUCTION ENDS.

If Wedge owners were sensible we would all be buying MX5s

I'll be keeping a very close eye on it was well.

I drove this car quite a few times back in about 1996/97. At the time it was absolutely immaculate. Guy that owned it back then was a real enthusiast and was selling it to buy a Cerbera.

It also had a major stereo setup back then, rows of Amps in the boot, uprated speakers and the like.

I'm not sure I remember it being a proper Kevlar one, but then again this is going back a while. The over-riding impression I got back then was that although it wasnt the most powerful wedge I'd driven it was really well balanced and just a nice docile car (well as docile as a wedge could get). It didn't have a peaky cam or any nasty habits.

If I wasn't in the middle of a deal on a 400SE I would seriously be considering it. She still doesnt look in too bad a condition now, hopefully the underneath is still good...

Another farmer with a SEAC - do you know him Steve?

Hopefully Staffs is too far away from Harwich so this one will stay in the UK ;^)

Yep, think that's right. Had a starting price of £8k and there were no bids. IIRC there was a deep scrape on one of the wings?
