Were 14" original fit? Won't they look lost in the arches?

Its not the matter of looks, is the matter of German TÜV. They give you a hard time if you wont fit original size on you tasmin....

Ah I see, sorry for all the questions! I didn't know they specified the wheel size in your documents.

They look alright when tidied up. Pity about the rest of the car.

The centre caps are in a box to keep them clean.

I have a full set (5) of original 14" 280i wheels which are the same as shown in Grahams picture. Three of them are in very good condition but two have been painted in the past. We could agree a price if you are interested.

Hi Matt, you say "it's the matter of German TÜV", do you have to run them all the time of just put them on for the inspection?

Another point.

My cross-spokes (Momo) fitted over the Granada Estate type vented discs, which the Teledyne type in MJG280's pic didn't, in case you're thinking of upgrading the front brakes.

I also had the wheels re-furbed at only £40 each.

I have a "spare" set (I actually have 2 sets of them but 1 set is keeping my "spare parts kit" 280i from resting in the ground) of these "spoked" look 14" alloys (have changed my wedge to 15" similar to those used on some 350's) maybe message me and we can work something out?

@Adam:

I have to have the right wheels always on the car, not just for inspection. In case of an accident the wrong wheel could be a matter for the insurance not to pay. Other sizes than standard have to be indicated in the papers, but for old cars/wheels its difficult to obtain this.

Hi Keil, the wheels are under 1 metre of snow at the moment yikes but I'll see if I can get a picture of them tomorrow.
