Front Oil Seals for 3.5 Remote Filter

Hi there,

I have a 3501 FHC 2+2 which I am doing some fettling to..I have had an oil leak from the "banjo" fitment on the front of the engine.

This acts as feed for the oil filter which is remote sitting on the drivers side of the inner wing.

I want to replace both of the seals where the banjo feed thing sits on the front of the engine.

One is a round rubber seal the other is also round but has a star like part to it on the inside...any thoughts about where I can source said seals...

This has been up here fairly recently. The round ring is the same as the oil filter. Dunno about the 'star' one though,... you might want to do a search for the previous thread.

I tried making one without much success so stuck the old one back on.Its good for the chassis was my excuse.

Fair point...thing is the bloomin stuff gets everywhere been cleaning the engine up and painting stuff...be a shame to have it covered in oil...plus it was a real bad leak...

Surely this must be a comon problem?

I have managed to find said items...TVR Carparts have both seals in stock and just a couple of quid...happy days gonna order mine today...
