TVRCC help needed to find out why!
Discussion
Hi
Some of you know me some don't. I have been a TVR owner for a number of years and have owned various models! I have been a "Wedge" owner since 2005. I have also been a member of the TVRCC since 1994.
I have been aware (Who hasn't) that there has been a lot of bad felling amoungst the "Wedge" owners and the club. In fact a lot has recently been said on another topic on the forum at present!
As I am running BBWF next year, can people please let me know what the problems were or may still be! So we don't go and open a can of worms by mistake! (I will properly do that anyway!)
So please post it here or contact me direct.
Andy

I dont think there are problems. Maybe people get upset when their car slips from popularity due to new models arriving and they get less attention and no longer feel loved. Thing is the Wedge is now rising back in popularity and is holding its own against the other models.
Hi Thanks for that but I don't think it's as simple as that!Andy
There are no problems. We sorted that out six years ago by founding BBWF - the first, proper and best single model TVR meet. Other models followed suit then the TVRCC realised the error of their ways and tried to jump on the bandwagon

Non Wedge owning TVRCC committee member here, as has been said above I'm not aware of any (real) issues between the TVRCC and Wedge owners. There was a lot of moaning about the lack of a BBWF report being printed in Sprint but as we all know that was due to a lack of one being submitted....
The magazine has a Wedge editor to help look after the interests of the Wedge community but as we all know Steve was poorly and so had more important things on his mind. Despite Steve's illness there were several Wedge articles printed last year so I don't really see why there are any perceived 'issues'. That said it is a club run by volunteers so ANYONE who wishes to write an article can submit it for publication, so if you want to see more about Wedges in the magazine it's down to those who know about them, writing about them....
If you don't think your writing skills are up to it then Mandy or I are always willing to help out with the editing side of things.

Where's that parrot symbol? See my post above yours. Main thing is that those issues are or should be in the past now but they were not about articles in Sprint.
