Ok I know its been done before but whats the consensus on best shocks for a (mainly road going) wedge. Avo, koni, gaz, redline, spax or nitrons? I don't need it to handle like a go kart, just decent performance and reliability (value for money is also a consideration).

Its running on 6 year old avos at mo - adjustable but not for ride height.

Mark.

All depends on the depth of your pockets, you can get your AVO's rebuilt for about 15 quid a corner - contact AVO direct.
If you feel like realy treating theold girl then go for Nitrons but they're aorund a grand a set.
Personally since Konis are no longer available I'd stick with the AVO's seem to work well on mine and elicts favourable comments from other wedgers when they're ferried about.

Thanks, are your avos the height adjusable ones?

I don't think I could get them rebuilt as I am not skilled enought to take them off myself (certainly not the front ones anyway). I would probably have to go for new ones.
