Seems about right if they are in good nick with good tyres!

I was at the PH meet today with Lepsons in attendance, and they quoted me £115 per wheel for split rim refubs, not that I need it, just wanted to make them even more shiney!

If we hadn't brought all that food for Christmas i would have some cash left over to grab me a set of these 16" wheels xmas
Now i am so fat i cannot get in my wedge yes

Anyway for 500 quid i could buy MJG280 motor and still have 300 quid for petrol (about 100 miles for a wedge)

Seeing as they have center caps and if they tyres are ok, then they are quite a bargain.
Look like they have has a refreb. at some point as they don't have the 10 star bolts.

I'm going to mod my FHC so I can run mine on the FHC racer, as that's what I bought mine for in the 1st place.
esp now the cars racing

When I last spoke to them, they sai that they wouldn't / couldn't do them. For one thing, they didn't have the tools. Do they now claim to have a set of the right tools?

It was a young guy I spoke to, so perhaps he wasnt fully aware of the implications/complications of an Oz TVR split rim!
I did make sure I told him exactly what it was though!

There is also a polishing company in the Hoo/Rochester area that said it would be quite simple to polish the outer rims up, but I assume that the problem lies in splitting them and re sealing and balancing them after!
From their web site it looks as though they could polish a turd!!!

Ive seen these wheels as a few months ago, we tried to do a deal with them as when they got the car and fould the tyers were rubbing badly and they were concerned about a tyre failing, we got there number had a chat and they tried out SEAC wheels, they rejected our old 8.5 by 15 SEAC wheels as the stamp marks were craply marked even after a tyre fitter told them the size was correct and wanted there old 16" back and as we are good sports we didnt argue.

When I looked at the tyres one would of needed replacing as it was badly rubbed on the sholder, as for the rims well the needed a good clean up and there was a few marks from kerbing and the some of the wheels had different bolts holding them togeather and looked a little odd but were allan key so would be easy to strip and clean.

These wheels have been on sale twice last year on hear.

Good luck with there sale
