If I was to buy another soft top it would have to have the flared arches, no matter what was under the bonnet...except maybe Chedder's car, which is luvverly.

The car at HHC is one of the last two - it was built at Haughins of Barrow in Furness and unlike all the others bar one, the engine conversion was done with a kit of parts from Dennis Priddle in Yeovil rather than the car being transportered down and back. The last two did not have tail spoilers. When Haughins went out of business this and a green car were consigned to ADT Auctions and sold in 1991/2. I last saw this car post service at Team Central in Birmingham in the late 90's when it was bound for Scotland
