Wow...looks like it's going to be a peach, and owned by a true TVR nut too.

If it's as good as it sounds, price seems very fair too (allowing for a bit of negotiation).

What would that money buy you now for a rarity on the classic or rally scene now ?...not a lot.

Bit of a large disparity between the ebay and ph classified price.

The pictures do not show it as being very imacculate .. so I would have
thought the ebay price might be closer to the mark but good luck with the sale anyway.

Yes but it is being retrimmed and having a respray so I guess they will be selling in 'as new' condition, not as it is right now.

I guess it all depends how solid the chassis is and how well maintained the oily buts have been. I thought it had been laid up for a while??

Yes, looks like there's been a change of plans, and all the work (as mentioned in the ebay ad) that previously needed doing is going to be carried out...and there's a few grandsworth there.

Anyway, it's good to see another one being restored, and properly.

Found it on e-bay silly me.

I had even tried to buy the car in the Auction last November but as usual Amos went up there and did a deal before the Auction ended! (I hate those people who do that)

The hype in price is normal for Amos! He is a dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't see it selling for a substantial period of time, not at that price!!
