Light Pod Not Lifting
Discussion
Had the first run out with the car yesterday.
The beloved says "It's a bit noisy, isn't it!"
Can't say I ever noticed....
Only hiccup was one of the light pods refused to lift after stopping for fuel in the dark, it worked ok in the dusk.
When the head lights are switched on only the left hand pod lifts, and one the lights are switched off the right hand pod pops up, and then drops down again.
Is this a relay problem?? I have a feeeling I've seen a thread on this before (Cuneus?)
Apart for that the trip to the seaside was un-eventful, and 'twas nice to be back on the road again.

Ah..I have the same problem except its my drivers side that only works..Even though the passenger side is on..I am hopefully sorting it tomorrow..It could be a loose connection..I posted it on the forum a short time ago..

It's most likely to be a poor connection down at the pod motor, especially since as it was working, the wiring can't be incorrect.
Could be a relay that's worked loose in its socket although I've been staring at the circuit and I can't see how it's doing what you describe. Another faint possibility is something wrong with the motor switch unit.
