L O V E L Y, I have drove that car myself Adam so i know what you are talking about. The best thing to do is get someone else to drive it and you drive infront. Never heard such a sweet sound whistling off the supercharger. Then let him overtake you and listen again its awesome from the back too. If i have one fault with it is i needed a cushion to sit on to see out of the windscreen driving LOL. Glad to see it has gone to another TVR enthusiast, cause i know Robby loved it.

May all your miles be loud ones!!!!!

I have a couple of pics of the sx and your car Dix,I think I got them from old posts on PH when resurching the car to buy it.....It's kind of wrong to take such a car offshore, but I really wanted a special wedge and when it came up for sale I knew what it was straight away so i jumped on it.

No chance bud if its on the road dont matter where in the world it is. When you see a neglected one on its way to the breakers yard thats what hurts.

And here we see the TVR beast quietly taking a drink at a nearby watering hole..Alone it is..lonely it is not..yet no other beast would dare to disturb it in its subdued state..

or in mike dundee's voice.

Strewth look at the size of that beastie, think i'll feed it a couple of skippies and a koala to keep it off our back's, come on neville [the aborigine] let's get the croc out of here.
1 mile away let's have a barbie and couple cans of grog [foster's]and we'll watch this beauty.
[Neville] - pity we've not got a couple of shiela's mike.

You do know about dodgy wedge handbrakes ?

There's a Cerbera in Melbourne - nearly the same colour

Hi Adam

Seeing the pictures of the SX yesterday and today have really put a smile on my mug, they have also made me realize what a amazing car i was proud to own.

I am sure the SX will give you such enjoyment throughout your ownership and you really are a lucky wedge owner.

Enjoy to the max and keep the pictures coming.

All the best

Rob

That is Martin's and (by the sounds of it) has been pretty much rebuilt, looking forward to seeing it at BBWF.

Adam

The second picture in your first post reminds me very much of a picture from one of the articles i have seen on the fabulous SX.

"Blowin Free" was the name of the article, sure you must have some cuttings of it in the box you have.
