Really laid back...

So I got the baby out of the garage this morning, shut the door got back into the car, crump! I was now in a semi-back-in-bed form, thanks to the seat tube by the rake adjustment having snapped in two. When I got the seat out, it would appear that a previous owner had the same problem, judging by the suspect welding in the area. So rather than trying to earn a crust, I have been on the lathe machining up a steel bar to stuff up it, so to speak. Niggling isn't it? And of course the majority of my tools are in the garage at home rather than at work, where me and the Wedge spend our time!
