This is to keep you up todate on the progress of the planning for BBWF.
Yesterday the comittee running BBWF meet for the first time, and a large number of things were discussed! (Some of which can be reported but some not
)
I have listed below a couple of things which we feel you should no at present.
A few areas of responsbillity were handed out, Henry Harris and Mark Webb (mrzigazaga) were tasked with encouraging traders to the event.
They are also looking at additional ideas for memroabilia other than what we already have planed to have, shirts, caps, and a BBWF/Wedge calandar. They will be asking/posting up question and asking for ideas shortly. Please give them as much help as you can.
It's your event so your impute will help make it a great BBWF.
The most notable thing decided was that we will run/organise the Hog roast in the evening, rather than the Hotel. This will make it a cheaper priced meal and hopefully better quality as well. The price and booking/ordering will be anounced at a later date but we think the price will be around £12 a head were the Hotel wanted £18 a head!
Ref booking a room at the Hotel.
You can start doing that as from tomorrow.
Ring the Hotel on 0121 711 3000 then go on to the inhouse booking line and quote TVR BBWF to get the discounted room rates.
I will post up more information as and when we/I have it!
