Can't find a carpet, Sooo

I did this to the seats instead.
Before

After

Not the best quality pictures in the world, but what a difference to the seat. I thought they were clean and tidy until I had done one seat.
The colour is now how they were originally, I didn't realise how much they had faded in 20 years. I cut a small sample from underneath one of the seats to be colour matched by http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/index.htm and of course that bit hadn't faded.
It took about 6 hours to do one seat but a lot of that was masking the piping.

Hey mrZ
If you are talking about the scratch on the seat on the left, then I haven't done that seat yet. New is on the right, old is on the left.
I did say they weren't the best quality pics
Maybe these are better

New finished seat on the left, untouched seat on the right

Sorry mate..My eyes are a bit fooked..They are looking good..I still think red for the carpet..I spose now that you have had the seats out they are easy to take out again so carpet can wait..Ive yet to cross that bridge and it will probably crumble beneath my feet..Given how lucky iam..Cheers mate..Ziga

In a padded-shouldered, red-braces and rolled-up jacket sleeves 1980's sort of way...
that is making me decide not to go red but to go maroon(or wine as carpet shop puts it) with cream edging. mrzigazaga said:
That was the colour of your gaiters wasnt it?..Might not be a bad idea....Get some off cuts if you can and try them...Might help you to decide..Ziga
That is the colour of handbrake/gear lever gaiter and the inserts on the doors around the arm rest area. Got loads of samples but none have ticked the right box as yet, although 'wine', as in red wine is close. The car is all ripped out and ready to fit new so I won't be putting seats back in until it's carpeted
As for the big hair mr 48, definitely league of gentlemen style. Now we must call you Barbara eh!
