Hi Dix.
Hello ! First time on Piston Heads.
Regarding Wedge at NEWCASTLE KEY SIDE (Blue or Black )
When clean , By the Docs,it is supposed to be (Forest Green Metallic )
However as you will know the weather in CO. Durham as usual is always CRAP!!!!
I have owened the motor since 2001 and have had plenty work done to it But with all WEDGES
It will take time.
Last good run out was Chatsworth staying for the weekend south of Leicester.
Returned to CO Durham with a Blast up the FOSSWAY to Newark and A1 HOME.

Wow, I know this is an old thread, but thats my old car.

Sold in 2001 to fund a Griffith, which I still have. I took that shot on the Quayside, guessing around 96 or 97.

The colour is indeed Forest Green Metallic (its actually a Porsche colour, they call it Nilgreen or something like that). I know this because Mike Penny (Production Director) took the time out to ring me and tell me after I enquired.....those were the days!

Hope you still have the car Brian, I was very sad to see it go, and of course miss that addictive noise.

Mark.
