Any idea what car the rad is off lads or is it bespoke to the car series 1 1983 350i twin fans?

IIRC it's a modified LR / RR radiator - the tanks / connections being the modified bit.

So there shouldnt be any problems getting it recored or replaced then?

When recoring they should use the existing tanks.

Just took mine to my local sercs but it had to be sent off (no repair on site with this one) when the side seals went. Got the same dents in the side tanks back but fresh paint. I would be tempted to search out a another good rad repair shop as well...
