finally got started on this winters project on the wedge, white indicator conversion, and new side lights

the side light needs to move nearer to number plate and then a white reflector goes between the 2 lights.

Should not be expensive as long as I don't have to have the front repainted

Blaine,

Didn't one of the early VW Golf's have a front lamp like that?

Found these but I'm sure one can find them at half this price: http://www.carlamp.com/cart/view_product_detail/15...

indicator, reflector(tow hitch cover on golf), side light(actually a fog light on a golf). i am putting led bulds in the the fog light, hopefully wont be too bright.

i will get the buld wired and post a picture.

Looks really good, nice idea. Why not leave the fog lights as fog lights and wire the side light into the middle?? Shouldn't be too hard to get a reflector to make it work should it?? Perhaps use one from the indicator part of another unit??

did think of nfitting 2 of the indicator units, but with the orange filter removed from one unit, but decided against that, hope the led bulbs i have ordered are not as bright as the bulbs in the for lights at the moment.

or the other idea was to leave the fogs as fogs, and put a side light bulb in the haedlight unit.
