as most of you already no there are two oil pressure outlets on the oil pump, one for the oil light the other for the oil pressure gauge, which one is best to use for a capilery type oil pressure gauge.
i've looked at it and fitting the tee piece under the gauge switch will cause it to foul on the remote oil filter, is it ok to fit it under the oil light transmitter?

Why don't you use one of these sandwich plates fitted between the filter and filter housing.

Any should be as good as any other as long as, as you say, nothing's fouling (could lead to the capillary tube breaking).

I've got a combined capilliary oil temp and pressure gauge fitted to mine. If you can wait wait until tomorrow I will check where I fitted it and take some pics.

I'm using one of these on the racer, with SPA Digital Temp and Pressure sensors

I just think it's a neater solution using the sanny plate. Problem with using a T piece, is it becomes a bit unwieldy and is asking to be knocked off, or work loose due to the overall size of T piece+x2 sensors.

Pics. as promised below. I connected the pressure side into the warning light take-off, and the temp. side into the filter housing (sump would be ideal, but this was easier, and maybe less exposed). Both read onto a Racetech dual gauge which I fitted in place of the non-functioning clock.
