She's gotta go.... cry after nearly 8 years of happy wedge ownership, it's time to say goodbye to her... and fellow Wedge guys byebye

I think I'm the only girlie Wedge owner. I'm no. 167 on the owners' list. I met some of you at Rockingham. I have loved and looked after her and she hasn't let me down. She has been admired at shows, friends have come out for runs in her and loved it. But now (and I feel guilty) she has been replaced with a Griff. So if any of you want a great car, she's for sale. I really want her to go to a loving and caring home to someone who will appreciate her. Still think shes's the best sounding TVR and with overrun that spits, pops and explodes and has made me smile & ppl say wow smile

Sorry, never got to BBWF but maybe someone else can take her and be proud...

Oh thank you, but as I said on the local forum, I have only driven Griff home few weeks ago, put her in garage and there it has stayed. For some reason not bonding with her, whereas I loved the 350i from the day I got her rotate.

I was asked to model the "Do I look as if I need Airbags" t-shirt at Chatsworth a few years ago and there was a pic in Sprint !!

I expect you are sad to see the wedge go. Have you bonded with the Griff yet?

As you now have a Griff attendance at the Griff Growl is compulsory.

And no I havent bonded with the Griff. To be honest I haven't driven it since day I got it a month ago when I brought it home and put it away (sorry).
Hope you will still speak to me on Sunday if I come to Essex meet in the "wrong" car... rolleyes

There is usually a small convoy from Essex, or you could bring a friend either way you wouldn't be on your own.

That is a shame, I assumed that seeing as you had your beloved wedge up for sale that you had bonded with your Griff. You still haven't driven it since you bought it, that is a travesty! yikes get it out, get the roof off and bring it to the TVRCC meet on Sunday. And yes there is a good chance I may not to speak to you if you choose to turn up to the TVR meet without a TVR. wink
