Zolder 2004 how many????
Discussion
Hope it's nothing serious Rob!! Read on your profile that you fitted new fuel pipes/lines, how did you handel the Y piece where the lines from the two tanks come together??? Is it a standard Y piece which you can get at Halfords?? Just changed the fuel lines on my 350 cause of a large leak just above the exhaust....(think i got lucky it didn't resolve in a fire). Didn't change the Y piece yet but it is pretty much cracked.

Nice knowing the profile is read. Still have to add: 4 GAZ adjustable shocks around, and complete overhaul of rear axle (found out that 2 U-joints were about to let go!!! during refurbishment). So it is a shame I cannot fully 'abuse' the improvements at Zolder.
I only had to replace the fuel lines and pipes. The Y is a metal T on mine. Probably the previous owner had this one sorted before I bought the car. I think a suitable diameter metal T-piece will do.
And conserning the gearbox. I think it is serious, and it will be an engine-out job later this/next year (and hopefully not earlier.... this year). By then I hope to have completed the 'driving' technical restauration of this marvellous TVR. With driving I mean, it has not been off the road and I drive it every week.
Good luck with the Y-piece, it should not be to difficult to fix it.

I hope Maggie's going to be with you.[/quote]
Unfortunately not, Frankie, one of our cats (after P-F Chilli) is recovering from a close encounter with a car, and needs a lot of nursing. I will have a pasenger though, a friend whose Griff 500 is undergoing repairs so cannot bring it.
Paul.
