I do mean it, mine really was quite tired in many areas when I bought it, and still is in a few - mostly the paint and the hood are very tatty now.
But I am improving it slowly, and I reckon I'll see at least one more summer with it.
I forgot about the info I'd put in my profile thingy, I'll update that tonight.
Oh, and I quite like the yellow one, but if it's in good condition with such low milage it seems a little under-priced to me..?
I'd guess the photo was taken at a jaunty angle making the engine look like it's leaning forwards..?
Cheers,
Martin.
I have had a couple of "tired" 280i's but my current one is getting less tired as we sort out its issues. It made it to Classic Le Mans and back with no major issues, like the rest of us it would have prefered it if the temperatures were 5-10deg lower though...
I'm not a fan of Yellow but might be more likely to get "spotted"?
Looking forward to having my red 280i back on the road in the next few weeks!
