Hello
While helping a friend geting his Tasmin running, we found that it has a central clutch slave cylinder.
It is an early S1 FHC with a 4-speed box. Does anybody know anything about this setup? What slave cylinder did they use?
Thanks for any help.
Oli

The concentric slave was a TVR special part although the design was based on a unit used by SAA and others. They wear exceedingly slowly and the internal seals are more like those you'd find in a hydraulic ram than a normal car clutch cylinder. On my S1 Tas (#36) there was a tiny weep from the slave cylinder; I replaced an O-ring but didn't manage to source the other seals, still stopped the leak though.
