I thort you needed low compression pistons for a turbo????
I had a GTI converted by Turbo Technics at one tine an the manifold bust just as a were sellin it off the shelf it woz £350.00 at 19 a woz not gunna pay that and thort bowt tekin it off n jus bangin a normal exhaust on it but was told by the guys who did the work it had low compression pistons so wunt av no go at all.
If you can run a turbo unit on normal pistons ie a 350i a mite be veeeerrrryyy tempted to look at this option myself, not the one on ebay a mate o mine as a 4x4 breakers am sure I could prize one owt of his mit for a few beers!

It's a total engine rebuild to do it correctly Jae, unless you just want a low boost.
