Need a master cylinder. HELP!!!!!

I Need to get a replacement brake master cylinder for my Wedge. The casting number is 74660294-7-0320 and the number on the red plastic tag are 66231 02 38/62 29NW. Any ideas where I can get a new one or mine reconditioned.

I have tried the usual parts suppliers in Glasgow with no joy and can't seem to find any online.

i fitted one from a capri i think, it has a larger bore, which improves the brakes, just need to turn the servo through 180degrees, just had a look on ebay but cant find th elisting at the monent/

B/M/Cylinder [for a 350] i got mine from a capri 280, were exact one's so look up ford parts on flea bay see if they have one.

Try http://www.pastparts.co.uk/ just give them your tag number and colour,they may ask for bore size to double check.

Failing that I have just bought one from www.newfordpartsonline.co.uk. Quite helpful and sells OEM bits for old model Fords - not new Fords... old Fords... if that makes sense.

Blaine, yours (and mine) is off a Land Rover Defender.

I got one from e'bay £36.00 specify ford cortina mk4 when searching. Fits and is doing the job.
