You seem a friendly lot so i am hoping someone can help me with a technical problem. Just returned to wedge ownership after a 4 year break (Saw my old wedge painted green and thrashed round a circuit by Mole Valley), and have now bought a 350i. The car has what feels like a hesitancy to rev and when you idle it around town the exhaust note indicates a slight misfire. So far i have changed plugs, leads, dist cap and rotor arm, checked the compression and adjusted the timing. But the problems still there and on a brief thrash down the M27 just now to see if it will clear, it has started a distinct misfire. Any body got any suggestions?

Welcome, can't exactly help you but have you tried a search on the forum. Its in the drop down menu at the top. Try the usual TVR options, that is Wedges, TVR general etc. Probably an answer in there. Give it time here and probably here as well. Also check out the link at the top of the Wedge forum. One for a rather small infromal gathering

Had a similar problem on a Range Rover (3.5 efi) changed and checked the same things you seem to have done and still a slight missfire at idle. I put a bottle of RedX fuel injector cleaner in the tank and within 200 miles it was running very sweetly. So may be worth a try.
