I,m sure this has come up for discussion before, but does anybody know where i can get my hands on a h/light pod lift motor. Seems it nearly cooked itself.

They're from the TR7 or Lotus Esprit and regularly come up on Ebay for a tenner or so.
Don't bin the old one, keep it for spares, even if the windings are trashed the gearbox may come in useful. If you really don't have house room, toss it my way, I'll look after it

I'll be striping the motors out of my FHC over easter, if you can wait a week or so.
