Always found them a tad tinny. Sorry but personal taste and all that, always preferred the lower rumble. Anyway, got one somewhere of the wedge on one of the Bristol area runs (Nacnud etc).

Al,

Aside for that aftermarket exhaust maybe the fact the 355 runs a flat plane crank like most all other F-car engines of the period could add to the music.

Not sure if the 355 have valves in the exhaust system that open up as you hit high rev's and which some owners fix in the permanently open position!

I posted a couple of Lamborghini racecar sounds a week back if you missed them that I'm afraid would eat that Larini exhaust.

That was when it only had one carb and was slower. Its got 3 carbs now, together with a 3" side exit exhaust, faster and sounds a lot better.

Next year though..............

Went in convoy to Le Mans last year with a tubi-ed 355 -the Rouen tunnel was something else!!

Does not one have a good vid of a wedge on it as all these cars sound ok and good but the curvy tvr's are a little soft in the sound department.
The lambos are ok but the v10 is too modern and the v12 is tasty.
We need a good wedge vid made with good sound track.
Ill have to give it a go my self.

WYNN Was that called Bensons Blast cause thats the vid that made me sway from a mgb roadster to the car i own and love!
