A wedge on the road that is. First one I have seen on the road for years, other than being at a meet or buying one.

Purple type colour, didn't catch the reg number because I was busy with a learner. But it had been moded to fit round rear lights.

Anyone know anything about one with moded tail lights???

I remodelled my S2 a few years ago with round tail lights, LEDs they were and I thought was the bees knees. I think the S2 society were split 50 50 as to whether it should be done or not. I sold it to a guy in Luxembourgh.

Anyway no plans like that for my wedge, but this purple one looked quite smart

I rarely see any apart from my one...was a guy local to me with a red 350i but I think he sold it for peanuts (rumours of "a few hundred") I'd have paid him more for it, had I known he was selling but he said "I'll get it back on the road soon all it needs is an MOT" (he could have pushed it to the MOT station from his house!) when I approached him about it a year or so before it went "AWOL"

Hopefully someone is doing a good job of getting it back on the road.

I was driving in mine through the North Yorks countryside one day, and a red (400SE I think) came around a bend in a village, towards me.

I was just frozen with shock yikes and totally unable to flash lights, wave, or anything...especially at the indecently quick speed I was going. hehe

You'd have to go back almost 20 years to see me driving the only other Chocolate Brown 350i that I know about!

I've seen a Gold one several times in the last year or so, driven by a tasty lady - well, any lady who drives a Wedge, and open in the winter too, has to be tasty!
I just hope she isn't who was on line saying she was selling to replace with another model!

I think the belly explains itself graham..You would never be able to drive a wedge with that darby..You would never be able to turn the steering wheel..hehe
