400SE Bib Spoiler Photo's
Discussion
Hi Hamish,
The 400SE spoiler that I have includes a flat upper panel that overlaps the lip at the bottom of the front edge of the body ie it is all one piece. The edge of the spoiler panel sits above the lip on the body. There are cut outs for access to the driving light mounting bolts.
I secured my spoiler using self tappers from below, in to metal reinforcement bonded to the upper surface of the spoiler (all stainless steel). This allows for easy spoiler removal in case it is necessary to secure a tow rope to the front of the car (which would probably damage the spoiler if it was not removed).
I have some photos of the arrangement somewhere - if I can find them I will forward them.
If I cannot find photos, I will take some more in the near future when the spoiler is femoved to repair stone chipped paint on it.
Rgds
