TOE IN THE WATER ...
Discussion
Hi folks ,
really enjoying the 390SE , but I have to say I am getting through copious of amounts of Swarfega ... do I really want to wear those poncy rubber gloves ! this does relate to my re-commencement of avid tinkering etc, etc,
Anyway my question is does anyone know what the toe in should be on said 390SE ? I have a previous printout with
a figure of 0/0.5 degrees total , the prospect of putting the Tiv in the hands of some pubesant oik with access
to tracking eqt fills me with dread , although TVR power are close by so that is probably the answer ..
cheers Thunderer

If you do a search on this forum, several posts come up with information that you need. Think that it also is available on the wedgepages. Probably 390 and 350 have the same setup.
And if you have it aligned, it is not only the front but also the rear as it is as important to achieve 'normal' wedge handling. Otherwise you can have 'interesting' wedge handling and that then probably occurs when you least expect it.

The thought had crossed my mind ... the thing is looking at the basic suspension setup
it seems to be a nice friendly system to play with ..siezed bushes and bolts apart !
the way cars SHOULD be , spend time working on Alfa 156 multi link front suspensions for instance
that STILL creak and groan after a couple of months of use , or try changing the camchain on a Lancia Fulvia
V4 in situ , apparantely not feasable ... No the Tivs brand of build appeals to me, blokes built em ,and blokes
(me) are quite happy pulling em apart ,and putting em back together !

Sounds like the timing belt on a Megane diesel then it seems to be a nice friendly system to play with ..siezed bushes and bolts apart !

Never had any issues getting my Wedge suspenders off... even if the bolts are rusty they usually don't snap unlike most modern rubbish.
