We are having the problem that we don't exactly know how to start the Tasmin after it's parked for about 1,5 hour. After 1,5 hour it isn't cold yet, but isn't warm either.
How do you do it? With(out) using shoke? Or hitting the gas or not?

I would have thought that it would start first or second time without the need for any throttle or choke; if it doesn't then try half throttle.

I guess that by posting this you have a problem. There really is no easy way round starting problems. You need to check the plugs, rotor arm and dizzy cap to begin.

The car itself is ok. It's more the lack of experience from our site that cause the problems
After some trying it always starts, but it would be al lot easier if we knew how to handle it.

The engine starts good when it's cold but a warm(er) start is a bit more difficult.
The garages in this neighbourhood (Netherlands) aren't very common with TVR, so I asked it here.

Sound like it could be too rich. Are the plugs wet after a few failed starts. I know many Wedges have the cold start injector disconnected as it doesn't appear to be needed when cold, and it could be making yours too rich when warm. Ideally of course it shouldn't be activated when warm, but as I said that's in an ideal world.

If you are using a dash mounted button to start it try making sure the key is fully turned to the full 'on' position. I promise it is easy to miss this.

If not you may have some fuel starvation due to evaporation in the line after the engine becomes hot.
